Pakistan Launches Operation 'Banyan Mursous' in Response to Indian Attacks

Islamabad: In response to recent Indian attacks, Pakistan has launched Operation 'Banyan Mursous' (Iron Wall), targeting several critical Indian military installations.

According to security sources, the operation was initiated at dawn, focusing on the Indian airbases and facilities used for launching attacks against Pakistani civilians and religious sites.

Targets reportedly destroyed during the operation include the Udhampur, Pathankot, Adampur airbases, various airfields, a BrahMos missile storage site, and the S-400 missile defense system, confirmed by government authorities on both sides.

The strikes were carried out using Pakistan's Fateh-1 missile, which has a range of 120 kilometers and is equipped with advanced navigation and precision technology, as confirmed by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

Security sources stated that approximately 70% of India's power grid was disabled in a coordinated cyberattack, and numerous Indian websites, including the official website of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), were compromised. Pakistani Air Force’s JF-17 Thunder jets, armed with hypersonic missiles, were responsible for the destruction of India’s S-400 air defense system in Adampur.

In addition to the destruction of these strategic assets, the Pakistani military targeted the Indian Military Intelligence training center in Rajouri and Nowshera, which were according to Pakistan allegedly involved in orchestrating terrorist activities in Pakistan. Further damage was inflicted on India's KG Top Brigade headquarters, Uri Field Supply Depot, and other critical military positions including Surathgarh, Sirsa, Bathinda airfields, and Akhnoor Aviation Base.

Security officials emphasized that this operation is a direct response to India's aggressive actions and is intended to send a clear message that Pakistan will not compromise on its sovereignty and national security.

Moreover, Pakistani forces reportedly disabled the Indian Army’s satellite capabilities, severely impacting their operational communications.

The ISPR has also confirmed that the initial Indian attacks involved missile strikes on three Pakistani airbases, all of which were intercepted and neutralized by Pakistan’s air defense systems, ensuring the safety of all military assets.

Security officials have stated that electronic evidence of the Indian missile launches has been obtained, clearly identifying the origins of the attacks.

Further developments are expected as the situation unfolds.
